You & Me

I started my career as a Chartered Surveyor, working in both Kent and London. Keen to fit in and to be one of the team, I felt I just wanted to blend in. As a result, I wasn’t always taken seriously and was overlooked for promotion. It wasn’t until I discovered the power of a personal brand that I started to get noticed and was highly visible. By building my personal brand my career transformed and opportunities came knocking at my door.

I was so excited about the significant difference a personal brand could make, I wanted to share and tell anyone who was being overlooked or missing out on opportunities. I was enthusiastic (and still am!) to make a real difference to others lives by showing them the importance of standing out and being visible.

So I carried out my professional training as an image consultant in 2006, at London’s leading image consultancy, the highly prestigious Aston & Hayes, specialising in personal branding and have been helping clients ever since to look and feel great and get noticed for the right reasons.

I have always loved image and styling and looking back even before starting my image consultancy business I was always taking friends shopping and helping friends and family to find outfits for occasions and events. Now I get to do that it in my professional life too, it doesn’t get much better.

It isn’t all work at You Image, I love relaxing with family and friends, being outdoors either for a run or walking with my Boxer dog Flora and enjoying delicious food, good wine and great coffee.
